The Bee Gracie Story
The Bee Gracie story begins with a simple observation.
The woman who chooses carefully what she eats, where she trains, and how she spends her time rarely finds that same care in what she wears while she does it.
It isn't carelessness. It's a gap the market never bothered to close.
Bee Gracie did.
Our customer moves through the world with discernment. She may be building a career, raising a family, creating something of her own, or simply becoming more intentional about the life she wants to lead. Her days are full, and the choices she makes carry weight. When she walks into a gym, a Pilates studio, or a yoga class, she's fully there. She recognizes quality when she sees it. And she notices just as clearly when it's missing.
Every print we make begins as a long process, developed by women artists from symbols with real history and meaning. Every fabric is chosen with the same rigor she brings to the decisions that matter. Every collection is built to last, in how it looks and in how it holds up.
We're not a fitness apparel brand. We're a brand for a specific kind of woman, one who already knows the difference between what's made with intention and what only looks like it.
Meet the Founder — Lyra Gracie
I’m Lyra Gracie, a mother, entrepreneur, and the founder of Bee Gracie.
I was born into the Gracie family in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, a family whose history is inseparable from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and from a distinct philosophy of discipline, movement, and care for the body. These values were not introduced to me later in life. They shaped the environment I grew up in.
The Gracie Diet was part of that upbringing. Not simply as a way of eating, but as a principle: what you choose to put into your body, and onto it, has consequence. The idea that everyday choices should be made with intention was never a question for me. It was simply how we lived.
At 17, I moved to the United States. It was there that many of the transformations that defined me began. I became a mother, built businesses, reinvented myself, and learned how to create opportunities far from everything familiar.
The values I was raised with never left me.
When I returned to Brazil, I brought them with me, along with a question I couldn’t shake: why did activewear so rarely rise to the level of the woman wearing it?
Too often, it was beautiful without substance or functional without soul. I felt that absence every time I dressed to train. There was space for something more considered, where exceptional quality, meaningful design, and timeless style could exist in the same piece.
Bee Gracie was created to fill that space.
The brand brings together my love of movement, art, and purposeful design with the standard of care I inherited and carried through every chapter of my life. Every print begins with original artwork developed by women artists. Every fabric is chosen for how it feels, performs, and endures. Every collection is designed to move beyond the gym and remain relevant beyond a season.
More than activewear, Bee Gracie is an expression of how I believe things should be made: with intention, integrity, and real care, from the first line drawn to the final piece worn.
The Art That Dresses the Soul
At Bee Gracie, every print carries a story. Nothing is random. No piece happens by chance.
Our prints are created by women artists, with sensitivity, technique, and a creative process that begins long before the first line is drawn. It begins with research, in feminine archetypes and ancestral symbols that have endured for centuries because they carry something true. Each design is an attempt to translate that meaning into something that can be worn, felt, recognized.
We don't chase trends. We create pieces with a history of their own, developed with the same rigor and intention we bring to everything that carries the Bee Gracie name.
Because the woman who wears us knows the difference. And she deserves clothing that knows it too.
